I’ve got over 20 years of experience navigating the world of data, I’ve worked extensively with Microsoft SQL Server and the Microsoft BI stack—covering SSRS, SSAS, SSIS, and the Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate). I’ve learnt that these tools whilst great, have lots of hidden potential within them, that this blog intends to share those lessons learnt on the query face.

​In my spare time I am a leader in the Army Cadet Force, helping young people develop life skills.  I also volunteer with the charity Young Lives Vs Cancer, in a number of roles.
